The objectives of the Tourism Advisory Council are:
  • Address tourism issues, plan special events and work with the hospitality industry to promote the area.
  • Pursue economic impact and educational growth through membership businesses, increasing the awareness of the importance of tourism.
  • Work with the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and other area Chambers of Commerce providing familiarization tours and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a plan to market and enhance the image of St. Petersburg to individuals and businesses nationally and internationally.
  • Resurrect the "Museums of St. Petersburg" universal ticket, then use the "Arts Pass" to further promote our area as a cultural destination.
